Larkfield Housing Association's main aim is to provide a quality housing service. We own and manage 396 homes in the area and provide other services to some 561 owner occupiers.
This covers a wide range of housing matters such as:
- Dealing with applications for housing including homeless referrals from Inverclyde Council.
- Holding an up-to-date Waiting List for any vacancies.
- Repairing and Letting empty houses.
- Providing a Repair and Maintenance strategy.
- Collecting Rents and dealing with arrears.
- Working with residents to resolve disputes including a Mediation service.
- Ensuring landscape and other common areas are maintained.
- Liasing with owners regarding their obligations.
- Issuing annual maintenance accounts to owners for common services management.
- Giving advice on Right to Buy issues.
- Promoting Mortgage to Rent schemes.
- Actively engaging with users of our services through our Tenant Participation Strategy.
We also do the following:
- Provide management services to 234 tenancies in Port Glasgow on behalf of Link Housing Association.
- Work with other housing associations in the area - the Inverclyde Housing Associations' Forum - on issues of common purpose.
- Assist the Council with housing those who are deemed homeless.
- Explore community and wider role projects
