Ending Your Tenancy
When you decide to end your tenancy agreement with the Association, you must give us at least one month's written to end your tenancy. We need this time to arrange for another tenant to move in. You can give a longer period of notice, but if you give less, we may have to charge you extra rent.
Giving Notice
Please call into our office to speak to your Housing Officer and complete an end of Tenancy form. An inspection of the property will be carried out prior to you leaving and we will tell you what work we think you should do. You should also make sure that everything has been removed from the house and the loft before leaving. If you fail to do this you may be charged for the costs of removal. We will also make arrangements with you to return the keys for the property before you leave.
For more information please refer to your Tenant's Handbook or contact the Housing Management staff at the office.
