Association Membership

Anyone can apply to become a member of the Association from the age of 16 years. To apply for membership you must complete an application form and return it to the Secretary/Area Manager at our office together with your £1 share fee.

The Association's Committee of Management will consider your application and if successful your name will be entered into the Register of Members and a share certificate will be issued to you. Membership allows you to participate in the affairs of the Association in several ways. You will be given a copy of our Annual Report and accounts; invited to the Annual General meeting at which you have a right to vote; you elect the Committee of Management and if you so wish you can stand for election to the Committee. The association has 96 members as at March 2011.
